Project Update from Freyssinet India at MCRP Site

We are thrilled to share a groundbreaking achievement at the MCRP site, marking a proud moment for Freyssinet India and the construction industry.

Innovation Unveiled: Clevis Anchor Anchorage System

For the first time in India, Freyssinet India has introduced the Clevis anchor anchorage system in stay cable for superstructure installation. This pioneering technology represents a significant leap forward in construction methodologies, setting a new standard for excellence and innovation.

Setting Records: Rapid Success in Challenging Conditions

Within just 20 days of installing a massive 2000 MT bowstring arch span at Worli Coastal Road in open sea conditions, we are proud to announce the successful installation of the second bowstring arch weighing 2500 MT. This achievement stands as a remarkable record, making this arch the heaviest span on Coastal Road.

This arch, measuring 31.7m wide, 31m high, and 143m long, will play a pivotal role in facilitating northbound traffic from Worli towards the Bandra end of Coastal Road.

Navigating Challenges: Precision in Severe Conditions

The placement of this arch presented a formidable challenge, with just a 2.8m gap from the already installed arch and float-over operations scheduled for mid-May, amidst what are considered severe conditions for marine works.

Despite these challenges, our dedicated team has demonstrated unparalleled expertise and resilience, ensuring the seamless execution of every aspect of this project.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders, partners, and collaborators for their unwavering support in this remarkable journey of innovation and achievement.
