Scope of Work
Freyssinet's scope of work for this project includes the supply of post-tensioning materials (excluding strand) and the execution of the work.
- Supply and installation of Horizontal and Vertical sheathing, strand threading, stressing and grouting.
Mundra LNG terminal was constructed using Freyssinet prestressing C-Range anchorage system which is the third liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal in Gujarat, India. The terminal was developed by GSPC LNG Limited (GLL), a joint venture (W) between Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) and Indian conglomerate Adani Enterprises.
Horizontal tendon length was 146.126 m and vertical "U" shaped tendon length was 82.88 m 19C15 systems applied in both "U" shaped vertical and horizontal tendons. Strand specification 15.7 mm (EN 10138 tensile strength 1860 mpa). Total tonnage of the strands is 1346 ton.
